Let's say you couldn't find a metal doll stand online or at the last Dolpa in North America. Let's say you settled for the plastic DD Stand to tide you over until you could find a metal one. If you did that, you would have quickly discovered the DD Stand is extremely poor in quality and will not support your Dollfie Dream (or another comparably sized doll) to stand upright.
